The Watchers books written by Raymond Fowler have stuck with me for a long time. Betty Andreasson Luca and her family have gone through a multi decade contact/abduction experience that runs the gamut. It’s well worth a read due to the full spectrum of experience and exposure to the phenomenon in all its weirdness, grizzliness, cryptic symbolism and mystery.
From fantastical forest lands to massive ship layouts, to fetus removal, to what looks like a magickal ritual, to being taken on a trip to see light and dark forces fighting over someone near death. It goes there and then it goes further.
Within the first 30 pages of The Watchers, the reader is taken through a graphic account where Betty is conscripted to help calm a woman that is having a fetus removed on a ship.
She’s shown the whole process. The fetus is taken out, it’s put into a tube with liquid, there are needles involved it’s not a happy or pleasant experience.

Eventually it seems like, to me at least, the fetus is grown into a Gray.
That’s not what she’s told however.
From page 25 of the Watchers Betty asks they grays running this operation “Why do you have to do such a terrible thing?”
the response she’s given is “We have to because as time goes by, mankind will become sterile. They will not be able to produce.”
As stated above, it seems to me that what she is shown is a process of growing/shaping a fetus into a gray. There is nothing happening in the described experience that looks like its preserving any kind of humanness.
To further the mystery and strangeness of the grays, a section in the Watchers II has recently bubbled back up in my mind which inspired me to put all this down. The grays need maintenance. Like Biorobots.
Betty is shown by the tall blond humanoid beings that because the grays (watchers is what the tall blonds call them which yeah, rings that bell from the Book of Enoch) don’t have eyelids. Their lidlessness has them seeing everything. Because of bright light exposure on their outings, their eyes get burned out and need to be replaced.
So Betty is walked through a kind of lab where these tall blonds are nonchalantly showing her that some animals are grown, specifically for their eyeballs, are harvested and then used as replacements for the gray eyeballs once they no longer function.
Here is an excerpt from Watchers II pages 100-102 where Betty is recounting this experience during a hypnotic regression session:
Betty: They’re red and they…look like small bodies with…thin limbs and four fingers with…nodules…They’re just hanging there, and they got two stalks by the neck, and they got big eyes! They’re in tubes. They’re in glass things…Ah there’s one…that’s got its head bowed, and it has no eyes …It’s all shrunken-like and just a little tiny, tiny thing that, a little ball is there. Another…tall man is coming in with white hair, but it isn’t like white hair. It looks pink in this [red]light. And there’s something in his hand, and the other one tells me to come closer and to go on over by one of those red creatures inside those glass things, and they’re opening up the top of that glass thing. [pause] And…that red creature has its eyes upward. And that tall being thats going over and and he’s taking out the eye, the black ball-eyeball- I guess, from that red thing., red creature, and there’s all little things on the bottom of it.
Fred: Bottom of what?
Betty: That black ball, the eyeball of that red thing. It doesn’t seem to hurt that red thing. He’s setting it seaside…on a table and a sort of a round type plate. [pause] Now he’s taking the other one out. Uh-h! And he’s setting it on the [round type plate]. Oh…it comes out so easy [pause] oh boy!
Fred: Does that mean these red things can’t see now?
Betty: I don’t know, but they don’t have any eyes–that one doesn’t have any eyeballs, but that other one over there with its head bowed…its got a little tiny…black ball and it’s just a little tiny…thing that comes out and has a little ball on the end of it. Then there’s some more of them over there…thats just inside the tube and –
Fred: Are they going to get new eyes?
Betty: I don’t know….They’re just removing them, and I’m just watching. They said they’re going to show me. And now…theyre putting the top back on [the glasslike tube that contains one of the red creatures]. And there seems to be some kind of steam or…gas or something filling up inside the one, inside…that glass thing there where they took…the two eyeballs out of that red thing. And it’s just getting…very filled with…a smoke or reddish-colored steam…Oh, they’re telling me that…Im not to fear because it will grow back another eyeball…Evidentlky, that’s what that one over there is doing [figure 20]
Fred: Growing eyes?
Betty: Growing eyeballs. Yeah. And, they’re saying that they use these for when the natural eyeballs go. They implant these because they control through them.
They’re telling me they have to do this because sometimes the natural eyes of the Watchers (What Betty was told earlier the grays are called. My clarification)
Become burned from being in too much light and open all the time, so they have to replace them.
Fred: They become what, please? Too much light?
Betty: They become burned out.
Fred: Oh, I see.
Betty: They’re open all the time and view everything and so the light is too bright at times, so they have these biobics done to them.

In many interviews I have heard or read about how these grays seem like they are biological robots. Either utilizing fetuses taken out of pregnant women as described in graphic detail in the first book, or grown and maintained. To be used as grunt workers and intermediaries during abductions/contacts.
The processes described in these two books leans heavy on the side of the scale that says biorobot.
Why was Betty shown this process in vivid detail yet told it was all because humanity will become sterile?
Shown the truth but told a lie?
For me this hits right in the center of how we are not being told the truth of the situation.
If humanity really was going sterile and they had ways to honestly help, we could talk it out and absolutely figure a way to keep us going in a more natural, human centric, joyful way. You know funtimes sexytimes.
Last I checked that drive is still kickin.
So the jump to
‘we’ll just take you against your will and take care of this whole “keepin humanity goin situation” for you in an incredibly inhuman way, don’t worry about it’
doesn’t stick for me.
I don’t think they are doing it for our benefit.
I think they are lying.
I’ll wrap up by simply stating we have every reason to ask questions, be cautious, pay attention and gird ourselves with knowledge and conversation.
I think cultivating a foundational space within each and every one of us where we can reliably ask ourselves:
“wait, hold up, what?”
to ensure we can come to our own conclusions and not be fed a story that serves only whomever is telling us the tale, will put us on a much stronger path individually and as a species.
I think there’s going to be an increasing opportunity to make use of that space within ourselves.
Let’s get familiar with it and deck it out with comfy big bean bag chairs. That way we can feel comfortable in our questioning. We can recline and take our time making up our own minds.
Flex that self sovereignty.
Thanks for hangin.
